I feel mad late to this, but, damn this song is a smash.  Those vocals and old school delivery are on point.  Luvin it.

Max Martin Scores 18th No. 1 On Billboard Hot 100

As a songwriter, “Shake” is Martin’s 18th No. 1, placing him in third place among writers with the most leaders in the Hot 100’s 56-year history. He ranks behind only Paul McCartney, with 32 No. 1s, and John Lennon (26). Martin breaks out of a tie with Mariah Carey (17) for sole possession of the third-most No. 1s among writers.

NEW MUSIC: 's - “A Kiss Goodbye” feat , & **MUST LISTEN**

OMFG, this song is crying.  Such beautiful pain.

“Did it ever occur that you forgave yourself before I did?  Did it ever occur that you forgave yourself before I could?”

BTW, in case ya don’t know.  Emile Haynie is the amazingly talented producer of such gems as Kanye West’s “Runaway,” Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out Of Heaven,” and many Lana Del Rey songs.  Yeah, exactly.

'Screwed' New York artists are fleeing to Los Angeles

I noticed this I’d say about 3 years ago.  A huge influx of artists from NYC moving to L.A.  It didn’t surprise me one bit.  NYC is waaay too fuckin’ expensive for a small, shitty ass space.  For the “starving artist,” it just wasn’t a realistic option for the most part.

Shepard Fairley said:

“New York was a hub for so long [because] high-low culture, high-low economics co-mingled very fluidly for years.” But artists have been priced out of former lower-cost enclaves Soho, the Bowery, Greenwich Village and Williamsburg, with high-rent condos and office buildings moving into what were previously artist lofts.

Eminem - “Going Through Changes”

Always been a fan of this track but moreso b/c of the feel, vibe to it. Now, the lyrics are hitting to my core b/c in the last year+, I’ve been going through some monumental changes. I relate to Em so much on this track. The beauty of art, words, poetry.
