PSY (@psy_oppa) Releases Follow-Up Single to ‘Gangnam Style’: Listen

The 35-year-old finished shooting the music video for “Gentleman” on Tuesday. It was shot in various locations around Seoul, much like “Gangnam Style,” which famously became the most watched video ever on YouTube and the first to garner over one billion views. Earlier, PSY was quoted by YG Entertainment as saying the new dance will “be largely in a Korean style.”

“Gentleman” will be officially released in 119 countries around the world Friday, April 12 at midnight. Once New Zealand (thanks to its early time zone location) got the first taste, the single quickly spread around the internet. PSY had originally planned on unveiling “Gentleman”  in Korea on Friday and then the rest of the world the following day. But he reset the time to midnight Thursday (GMT +9 hours) on iTunes and local music websites to lessen confusion for fans and onlookers, said YG Entertainment.

He will hold a concert dubbed “Happening” at a sports stadium in western Seoul on Saturday before going on an international tour to promote the new track.

ISH KNOWS…I think we now have our next breakthrough music vid / cultural phenomena haha.  The hype is all about the risque video, not the song.  Let’s make that clear.  I like the song, though.  It’s upbeat, catchy but nothing wow.  The attention is all about the vid; and, it being censored by YouTube will only increase the views lol.

The main model is baaaad!  Mmmm!

ISH KNOWS…I reeeeeally like this video!  “22” is one of my fave tracks off her “RED” album, and, this vid does it justice.  It just looks like so much fun haha.

The pre-chorus on this track is money!  That melody and those lyrics combined = killer:
